How to enable WebGL and turn on Hardware acceleration on chrome browser ?

We recommend using InVideo on Google Chrome for the best experience.

Make sure you have these 2 settings turned on:

Hardware Acceleration

Copy, paste, and go to chrome://settings/system from your browser's URL field, and toggle Use hardware acceleration when available to be On. If it is already On, turn it Off, relaunch your browser, then go to the settings and turn it On again, and again restart your Chrome browser.

WebGL

To find out if WebGL is enabled in your browser, go to https://get.webgl.org/webgl2/

(Note: If this site shows you a not supported message, then your system itself does not support WebGL2 to run invideo smoothly).

If the site above shows supported then we enable WebGL settings.
To enable WebGL on your Chrome browser, Copy, paste, and go to chrome://flags from your browser's URL field, then search for "WebGL" and activate all the options, then restart your Chrome browser.

For any other issues where the changes are not being applied, doing a hard refresh helps [by pressing Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Apple)]. If you still face any issues, come chat with a support hero on our 24x7 live chat accessible in the bottom right-hand corner, or email us at support@invideo.io so we can check and resolve this for you.
