What is Generative Media?

Generative media refers to content created entirely by AI, from scratch, without relying on pre-made images, recordings, or stock media. When you provide a prompt—such as “a surreal forest scene” or “a mellow, ambient melody”—the AI doesn’t pull elements from existing files. Instead, it uses patterns and knowledge it has learned to create something entirely new and unique. Think of it as having a digital artist that brings your ideas to life with original creations on the spot.

How is it counted?

Generative credits are calculated based on the duration of each generative media generated by the AI and added to your project or any media you generate manually from the media or script section.

One second counts as one generative credit and one minute counts as 60 generative credits.

For example:

  • If AI generates a 4-second video clip for your project, 4 generative credits are deducted from your usage.

  • Each generative image will count as one generative credit.
