How can I delete media in my video?
Updated over a week ago

To delete media, follow the below steps:

Step 1: Click the edit option.

Step 2: Locate and select the trash πŸ—‘οΈ icon. Choose one of the following options from the pop-up menu:

Delete and add blank media

This will replace the selected media with a blank placeholder.

Delete and let AI decide

1st scenario: Single media in segment

  • If there's only one media in the segment from which a media is being deleted (shown by grey lines between segments), deleting it adjusts the duration of the media before or after the segment to avoid any blank screens.

2nd scenario: Multiple media in a group (having one or more media with auto-trim "disabled")

  • You can disable auto-trim to set a fixed duration to media manually as shown in the screenshot.

  • If you're deleting a media from a segment where all the remaining media have a fixed duration, AI tries to add new media to fill the segment's total duration to avoid any blank screens.

  • For example, if a segment has 2 media, each 5 seconds long (manually set by disabling auto-trim), deleting one media will result in AI adding new media to fill the segment's full length.

3rd scenario: Multiple media in a group (having at least one media with auto-trim "enabled")

  • If you're deleting a media from a segment where at least one of the remaining media has auto-trim enabled, AI tries to auto-adjust all the media that have auto-trim enabled to fill the segment's total duration and therefore avoid any blank screens.

  • If the AI is not able to auto-adjust existing media in the segment, it may add new media to fill the segment therefore avoiding any blank screens.

Delete along with script

This option removes both the script and the associated media, effectively clearing the segment entirely.
